  1. Add a quick link to go from the SSG page to the BI Home Page

Like the Tools link from BI Home to the SSG site, it would be most helpful to add a link from the SSG site to the Home page.

  2. Add an "Are You Sure" to the Update All Button

That button is DANGEROUS! I accidentally pressed it and ALL my studies were updated!!! Not only did this take a LONG time but all my history of SSGs was gone! Why not add an ARE YOU SURE confirmation?

  4. Notes Default Settings

With the new notes feature the Staff and Community notes defaults to being on. I recommend that the default be changed to "off" or allow user to set global defaults to their preference. The community notes are often inane and useless.

  5. Add the BI top 100 as one more of the filters in the screening tool

Allow a member to select from the top 100, say 'those above xxx' or 'Morningstar B' etc.

  6. Instead of using the estimated future high PE, using the estimated future average PE would provide a more realistic expected total return

Our club uses the expected average PE and resulting return in deciding on whether to buy . It would be helpful to continue noting that in a form comparing all stock owned.

  7. Add Feature to Portfolio Reports Screen: show the "Buy price to satisfy US/DS of 3 to 1 and 15% total return" shown in each SSG Plus study

Could you add another column to the portfolio Reports screen that shows the following SSG Results Summary item called: "Buy price to satisfy US/DS of 3 to 1 and 15% total return:" This is generated on each SSG Result Summary table in part 5 of each SSG. You currently only show the "Buy Below" and "Sell Above" price in the Reports screen but it would be nice to know the 15% price of all the stocks shown in the portfolio reports screen. I would basically be using it as my pounce list or know when a current holding is at…

  8. Change color of numerical data in Q & A data when changed by user.

We have the option of changing the quarterly and annual data when unusual circumstances exist. The checkmark in the last column notes that some data has been changed but does not note which data has been changed.

If the color of the data was changed to reflect that the data had been changed this would be quick and easy.

  9. Add PEGy to the SSGPlus

Add the value for PEGy as PEGy = PE ratio / (Projected Earnings Growth + Dividend Yield) to account for companies that pay dividends.

  10. Create SSGPlus 'Non-Study' view

This would be a pared-down view by removing the judgment-related components but also generally retaining the overall layout. Also, perhaps some of the data or components could be compressed into more of a dashboard-like style. For example, the Analyze Growth tab could stay the same but the judgment components would be hidden and sections 4 and 5 of the Valuation tab could be replaced with a dashboard. The added benefit of this is it could aid the members who do quick, high-level research by scanning for companies to invest in.

BI has a hard copy of The Stock Challenge Tree. Toolkit has or had an excellent computerized version.

  12. Allow SSG to be created where a ticker is not included in the data feed or from manual data

I am researching an ADR of a company, which trades OTC. (ex: DKILY, Daikin Industries, a $53B market cap company) I am unable to start an SSG in this company, as the ticker is not found in the data.

I think there should be a "manual mode" for the SSG, which would be useful not only for OTC companies, but also companies listed on foreign exchanges. It could also be useful as a learning tool, to find and populate the data, in order to become familiar with their meaning and source.

  13. When making manual changes to data change the color of the changed data so it can be quickly recognizes as changed

We can tell the data is changed by the checkmark but we do not know which data in the qtr or year has been changed. If the color of the data was another color one could tell at a glance which data point had been changed without digging back through the notes.

  16. Make the data date show the quarter and year on the SSG yr over yr Qtr report like Toolkit used to do. Ex: 4th Qtr 2019

Currrently the Quarterly info box says for example MSFT FY 2020 Qtr ending (06/20). I think this would be the 4th quarter for them since their fiscal year ends in June. So is this 4th 2020 & they are already starting 2021?

  17. Add button to delete multiple (or all) sets of saved SCG

I use SCG's a lot. Over time I have dozens of old SCG's that I no longer want to keep. It is a pain to delete one at a time.

  18. Add quarterly data to book values for banks.

Otherwise we are working with old Q data for book value and current Q data for the other info. We can go to the banks reports for this info but since Mstar likely already has it in their data banks they should be able to add it and save us the extra work.

  19. Ability to pick one or more SSGs/studies from the list of existing studies and add them directly to a portfolio.

The user would view their list of SSGs/studies and select them then click 'add to portfolio' and identify an existing or new portfolio.

  20. Open to New Tabs when clicking the report button of a portfolio and when selecting a stock in the portfolio report

Open to New Tabs when clicking the report button of a portfolio to display a second portfolio report and/or when selecting a stock in the portfolio report. Currently in replaces the portfolio report view and one has to navigate back to the file manager to reopen the original portfolio report.
