Add the ability to add Quarterly & Annual data for companies where manual data entry is necessary (Add a Quarter - not just Edit)
Certain companies have imported data that conflicts with Value Line and/or Yahoo financial data. For these companies it is necessary to manually edit the data. This works. However, as another Quarter is completed, you are unable to add an additional Quarter. I imagine you are also unable to add a Year when the year is complete.

Adding Return on Assets as an “Evaluate Management” metric when studying bank stocks
According to many resources, Return on Assets (ROA) is one of the best ways to evaluate profitability of a bank. %Pre-tax Profit on Sales is less useful when evaluating a bank, so I would suggest replacing that line with ROA for banks.
The calculation is done in one of 2 ways:
Return on Total Assets (ROTA) = CY Net Profit / CY Total Assets
Return on Average Assets (ROAA) = CY Net Profit / ((CY Total Assets + PY Total Assets)/2)Where CY = current year; PY = previous year
Both are used. ROTA would result in a more conservative…

Allow data to be locked
Allow the fundamental data to be 'locked' so that new/updated data is only added and doesn't overwrite older or edited fundamental data.
4 votesUser entered data is now locked on a row-by-row basis.
We advise that all ‘non-changed’ data is kept unlocked so it is automatically updated (upon a user initiated refresh/update) in the case of a stock split.

PERT problem
Today Craig Jacobsen and I noticed the Online Portfolio Pert report gave three companies pink flags in sales when the forecast percents were lower than the actual last 1/4 sales. Namely LOW, CMI and FDS. A Toolkit PERT with the same front page forecast had no pink in the sales columns. Perhaps there is a problem with the Online PERT. Check it out if you have time. Thanks.

Under research tab have the sites grouped by type of information being sought.
For example:
Research (the heading tab)
EPS estimates
----------------- Yahoo (linked to section with EPS estimates)
----------------- Reuter (etc)
Competitors
----------------- Yahoo (linked to section with EPS estimates)This would serve to prompt the analyst to go to the better sites to consistently get quality information on the topic of interest.

Allowing locking of data on an SSG.
Allowing locking of data on an SSG to prevent accidental updates if more than 1 SSG on a company. Some keep a separate SSG for each addl buy of a co. Locking would prevent accidental updating of that SSG.
