Decades ago, I believe in Toolkit, you could use current holding, Stock A, enter purchase price, date, current price and date (allowing capital gain calculation if sold), plus your current total tax bracket. THEN Challenge Stock A, taking after tax proceeds and compare to new Stock B... to see projected return 3-5 years later.
This was EXCELLENT so you can see if just holding Stock A, including unrealized gains, is actually superior to selling A and buying Stock B with after tax amount left.
