Consistency in Data Updates
The update for data and prices should be in the same order on the "Refresh Portfolio" dialog box on the Portfolio page and the "Refresh Data From Data Service" dialog box on the SSG. Please see attached .pdf.
2 votesWe implemented consistency but chose to keep price updates as the first option.

Enhance PDFs to show all plots.
When I make a PDF to print or share, extra plots, such as dividends or shares outstanding, are eliminated. It would be greatly beneficial to maintain all plots and their positional relationships as I have them in the SSG Plus graph.

Allowing locking of data on an SSG.
Allowing locking of data on an SSG to prevent accidental updates if more than 1 SSG on a company. Some keep a separate SSG for each addl buy of a co. Locking would prevent accidental updating of that SSG.
2 votesUser entered data is now locked on a row-by-row basis.
We advise that all ‘non-changed’ data is kept unlocked so it is automatically updated (upon a user initiated refresh/update) in the case of a stock split.

Add to Section 3 the Average P/E Ratio, Current P/E Ratio, Relative Value, Projected P/E Ratio, PEGY Ratio, Projected Relative Value
Add to Section 3 the Average P/E Ratio, Current P/E Ratio, Relative Value, Projected P/E Ratio, PEGY Ratio, Projected Relative Value, TTM EPS, FTM EPS and Avg TTM + FTM EPS similar to Section 3 of Toolkit 6. When using SSGPlus I have to always access my Toolkit 6 program to view these items in TK6 Section 3 as I have not yet found an equivalent in SSGPlus.
23 votesAverage P/E ratio, current P/E ratio, TTM EPS have been in SSGPlus section 3 since launch.
Relative value, PEG and Projected P/E ratio were added in the ‘Ratios’ tab of SSGPlus.
This issue is now closed.
The addition of FTM EPS is covered under a separate issue here: https://feedback.betterinvesting.org/forums/220694-stock-selection-guide-tools/suggestions/8059056-add-ftm-eps-and-the-average-of-ttm-and-ftm-eps-to

On the 'Compare Peers' page, legend/graph colors should be consistent from one tab to the next
When moving from one tab to the next on the comparing peers screen it would be a lot easier if the graphs for each of the peers was always the same color.

Be able to share a SCG
Be able to share a SCG with other club members
1 voteUsers have the ability to share a Stock Comparison Guide (SCG) by clicking on the ‘Share’ menu item and then selecting recipients. Upon accepting the share, the recipients will receive a copy of the SCG as well as the supporting studies for the SCG.

Separate Notes from the Tools menu
Please make Notes a top-level menu item and change the word Notes to bold/italic if any notes have been saved, as is done in Toolkit, to remind the user whether notes have been saved.
2 votesNotes is now a unique tab in both CoreSSG and SSGPlus.

Put a line under Section 3 that will give the RV and the Projected PEG (Current PE/ Est EPS Growth Rate).
Please put a line under the SSG Plus Section 3 that will give the RV calculated as (Current PE/5-Yr Avg PE) and the Projected PEG calculated as (Current PE/ Est EPS Growth Rate). These are very important valuation measures.
Relative Value according to my old Stock Analyst manuals:
" Good value is present when the current P/E is less than the historical average P/E ratio. This is measured by dividing the current P/E by the average P/E (x 100) to produce a figure called the Relative Value...This is the best overall measure of the reasonableness of a current P/E multiple...Relative…19 votesRelative value and PEG are now available and located on the ‘Ratios’ tab.

Add "Prices current as of xx/xx/xx" to top of section 3
At the top of Section 3, there is plenty of room on the top line that displays the stock prices. How about adding "Prices current as of: xx/xx/xx". When working on an older study, the original date is shown in the title bar, so it's not necessarily clear that the prices displayed at the top of section 3 are more current than the Study Name/Date.
1 voteThanks for the suggestion!
The price date is shown next to the current price. -
PERT Report PDF
If the report extends to more than one page, the headers should be repeated at the top of each page. Also, occasionally when I print a multi-page PERT Report, the last stock on the first page is split in half -- the top half is on one page, the bottom half of the row is on the top of the second page. The report needs to be generated in a way that will prevent this split.

On the report PDFs: The Diversification Report file name includes the PORTFOLIO name. The Summary and PERT do not, but should (as should ALL report PDFs).

PERT problem
Today Craig Jacobsen and I noticed the Online Portfolio Pert report gave three companies pink flags in sales when the forecast percents were lower than the actual last 1/4 sales. Namely LOW, CMI and FDS. A Toolkit PERT with the same front page forecast had no pink in the sales columns. Perhaps there is a problem with the Online PERT. Check it out if you have time. Thanks.

In determining a low price the "Determine Low Price-Next 5 Years" box pops up. Would like to see this prepopulated with the last 4 quarters
In determining a low price the "Determine Low Price-Next 5 Years" box pops up. Would like to see this prepopulated with the last 4 quarters EPS.
4 votesThe trailing twelve months (TTM) EPS is now the default value to populate the ‘Low EPS’ value in the Low Price calculation.
Users may change their preference setting to use the last annual price or may overwrite the TTM EPS value.

Allow Portfolio Summary Report to be Printed as Sorted on the Screen
I can set up a portfolio to follow, and on the screen I can reorganize the stocks in the portfolio in alphabetical order, but when I go to print the list of the stocks in the Summary Report, they always print in the original order. Allow the Summary Report to print as sorted and shown on the screen.

Print Notes from the Note Window
It would be helpful if the notes could be printed from the note window without having to send them to Microsoft Office Quick Notes or One Note.
1 voteNotes can be printed to a PDF by appending them to the 2 page SSG report as a 3rd page.
To print the Notes, select ‘Print’ , then click on ‘Append Notes’ and then ‘Generate PDF’ and the notes will become part of the PDF. We are planning a new ‘Notes’ tab (rather than a popup) and will consider how printing would work from that screen.
