Add Value Links for Dow 30 stocks, or allow users to add custom links
Value Links provides free access for Dow 30 stocks. It would be nice to include a link to the Value Line for these stocks, or at least allow users to add custom links.

Uniform order of the sales and eps columns on all pages/documents
Order the sales and eps columns so they are in the same order on SSG side 1, Qtr Trend Rpt and PERT.

PEERs
Ability to compare more than 3 peers and/or to export peer data to excel so that the data can be manipulated to allow a more detailed comparison outside of SSG.

Display the average price for a stock, graphically, and include it on the front page of the SSG along with sales, pretax profits and earning
In addition, or instead of, having vertical price bars, showing high and low for a given year, show the average price as a graph line. It would be nice to see how the price moved along with the sales, earnings, etc graphically

Add the ability to evaluate Dow Jones, S&P and NASDAQ averages
These averages have prices, EPS and dividends. Section 1 plot would not have a sales line but would have EPS line with a projection and price bars. Section 3 would have prices, EPS, P/E ratios, dividends, yields and could have projected highs and lows. We need the ability to evaluate the market as well as individual stocks.

Alt+M in the CoreSSG.
Alt+M is a feature that is highly used in the Toolkit and it would be great to see it in the CoreSSG

Suggest only One Tool
I know way to much energy explaining the difference and frankly the difference is not worth the time and effort spent. May I recommend that there be only one tool that is continually improved. Perhaps there is 2 modes expert and newbie.

Add a sorting indicator on the PDF copy of the PERT report
The PDF copy of the PERT report does not indicate what column the report is sorted on, nor the sorting order. Could something be added to a header or footer that shows what column the report is sorted on, and in what order?

Create a One Click method to export .SSG , .ITK .PDF files directly to OCA's FILE STORAGE.
Create a One Click method to export .SSG , .ITK .PDF files directly to OCA's FILE STORAGE.
this would eliminate the 2 step process of first exporting to download folder, then opening OCA to 'upload'.
This would be a similar process to the webinar registration's "one click' method to add a webinar to your calendar.1 vote -
Error in Adding long named file to Portfolio
If a study is saved with a long file name adding it to a Portfolio is a problem. Cant easily get to the check box.
To solve this the dialog box must be horizontally scrollable or the file name needs to be truncated or the dialog box needs to be resizable.
Simplest to to truncate long file names in this dialog box1 vote -
SSGPlus Search return result fields for Sales/Earnings not consistent
The Sale & Earnings growth figures in the "search results" for some companies are not consistent with the SSG. For example, stock symbol MOS (Mosaic) shows:
Sales = 56.3 & Earnings = 8.6 from the Search results
Sales = 2.6 & Earnings = 3.8 on the SSGPlusThere are others with just a discrepancy in Earnings.

Integrate more of the info in the "SSG Reference Guide" into the Core SSG tutorial information.
Consolidate all guidelines into one area so folks don't have to go between a paper reminder and what's online in the tool

Graphical Stock Comparisons
Would be nice to be able compare two or more companies graphically for their stock performance for a given time horizon, say 1, 2, 3 or 5 years. (A picture is worth a thousand words).
1 voteEvaluating a company strictly on price performance is not the primary purpose of the tool and there are many sites that do this already. We suggest checking out the ‘Price Charts’ research links in the tool.

Debt label on SCG Stock Comparison Guide
I personally would like to see the last year of Debt % Equity on the Stock Comparison Guide (SCG), rather than a 5-year average. Either way, the label should identify what period the number is for (like PTP and % Earned on Equity are labeled as a 5-year average).

Pop-Up window showing math calculation when moving cursor over a particular field.
Although there is a separate pdf showing the math calculations used behind the scenes in an SSG, a simple pop-up reflecting the math would be faster and more efficient.

Refresh Buttons: Difference between "Refreshing All Studies/Portfolios" and "Refreshing Individual Studies"
When the user Refreshes "All Studies" or "Portfolios", locked data is not touched.
However, when the user Refreshes "Individual Studies" there are two "Overwrite" options and one "Create A Copy" button.
Is it correct to assume that "Overwrite" means Overwrite....including eliminating/overwriting the Locked data?
And, when choosing the "Create a Copy", doesn't that also overwrite locked data, update the data.... and create a copy?
Also: Date Modified column: Gives the date that the user Refreshed either the price or price and data. How can the user tell which companies fundamental data were refreshed? Not all companies release quarterly data on…

Re-think Debt to Capital Ratio
Re-think the use of the Debt to Capital Ratio (D/C). Most members don’t understand what capital is. I have always assumed it is a measure of the financial strength of a company. If that’s the case, the ratio ignores the ability of the company to service its debt and its available cash, equivalents and marketable securities. Either make a strong argument for retaining the ratio, or consider other measures of the financial strength of companies in general. Consider using the Debt to Equity Ratio (D/E) or Interest Coverage (or “Times Interest Earned”) as a means to measure the financial strength…

Enable Quarterly Data Charting:
Make better use of the “Quarterly Data” tab. I use it regularly, but it is difficult to spot trends in the data without charting it. Being able to download it into Excel would suit my personal needs. Being able to select the data you want to chart and then click a button and have the chart appear would be great. The ultimate would be to be able to do both.

Add a quick access alpha-bar to the glossary so you don’t have to scroll thru the terms
Add a quick access alpha-bar to the glossary so we don’t have to scroll thru the terms to find what we need.
Also, add more margin term — gross, net
