How can we improve our Stock Selection Guide Tools?

  2. email groups

    Be able to created groups when sharing stock studies, so when you are member of more than one club, have each club as a group

  3. In SCG, list the saved comparisons with newest at the top.

    Quick Nav for SSG is newest at top, I believe the saved SCG should be newest at the top, not the bottom.

  4. Toolkit 6 "Portfolio Management Overview" (from the Home Page) Non-Existent on Core or Plus SSG

    I really don’t like the on-line version of the SSG (Core and Plus). Doesn’t have a Portfolio Overview (accessible from the Home Page on Toolkit 6) which has columns for Risk/Reward and Projected Relative Value – side by side. Portfolio Management with the on-line SSG is nonexistent and very cumbersome. The Projected Relative Value is buried in the SSG Plus under the “Ratios” Tab. (FYI: I use Projected Relative Value to modify my High & Low P/E’s when it reads under 80). I don’t bother with projecting Trend Lines. On Toolkit 6: I simply enter my modified projected EPS on…

  7. Add the capability to be alerted/emailed when new data for saved SSG's is available

    Allow portfolios or studies to be flagged to receive alerts when new fundamental data is available after a reporting period.

  8. Weight the Heat Map studies

    To make the chart more relevant to the present, consider weighting the studies with more emphasis on the most recent past.

  10. Increase the size of the graph on the Visual Analysis page (front side - page 1)

  11. Show “Study Count” for “All Studies” and “Studies Not In A Portfolio”

    Add the ability for “All Studies” and “Studies Not In A Portfolio” to also have a “Study Count” like the individual portfolios.

  12. Traveling Side Bar

    The Command buttons (File Data Print etc.) on the upper right of the form would be much more convenient if they were located on a tab on the right side. A traveling tab such as in the Online Value Line would be fantastic.

  14. Add multiple 'User Defined' fields/rows to the the Stock Comparison Guide

    Allow the user to define a new row in the SCG where they would add a user defined title for the field and then for each company/SSG would have the ability to add text for that field.
    The user would then be able to highlight the cell for the information/metrics that are preferable and the cell highlighting would be included in the sum of all highlights at the top of the SCG page.
    The example here would be some industry specific metric or financial ratio that is important for the company or industry.

  15. Allow an SSG from the past to be generated

    I would like to generate an SSG at a point in time in the past. This way we could evaluate our past judgements and see who closely they matched known future results.

  16. Allow more than 5 companies to be compared with the Stock Comparison Guide

    I find limiting the number of stocks to just 5 to be too small. I would like to compare up to about 15 stocks, say our complete stock portfolio.

  18. Create SSGPlus 'Non-Study' view

    This would be a pared-down view by removing the judgment-related components but also generally retaining the overall layout. Also, perhaps some of the data or components could be compressed into more of a dashboard-like style. For example, the Analyze Growth tab could stay the same but the judgment components would be hidden and sections 4 and 5 of the Valuation tab could be replaced with a dashboard. The added benefit of this is it could aid the members who do quick, high-level research by scanning for companies to invest in.
