When developing reporting make sure it considers reports by portfolio
Toolkit 6 has several good reports and they can be generated by portfolio. Please have SSGPlus have the same.
1 voteThank you for providing feedback at the BetterInvesting feedback forum! The suggestion ‘When developing reporting make sure it considers reports by portfolio’ is now closed as this is already a requirement for any future portfolio reports in the SSGPlus. Your votes will be returned to you to vote again on something else in our feedback forum.

Add a visual divider between FY data and Q data in the EPS Forecast window.
Some kind of visual divider between the FY and Q Data for the data displayed on the right side of the EPS Forecast pop-up (PTP Margin, shares outstanding, etc.) would make this data a little easier to read.
1 voteThere is now a visual divider present on the Historical Data panel on the right of the Preferred Procedure area.

Save preferences for columns to display in the 'Your Studies' area
Save my preferred columns to display when viewing all of my saved studies. Or better yet have a menu of personal saved displays that can be selected from a drop down (like saving a screen search).
1 voteSaving your chosen column to display was implemented with the March 6 release.

Make peers display persistently throughout SSG
Please make the peer display persistently throughout the SSG so that we do not have to re-select them each time we open the graphs.
1 voteThis item was provided in the late 2015 release.

Add ability to update the stock price at any time
Show not only yearly high and low prices but also yearly closing prices and draw a line thru them
1 voteWe now have an option with the study, from the file manager and when updating a whole portfolio to update only the price.
This was implemented with our last major update that was released in September 2015. -

Fix trying to go to Search after wanting to Abandon Study
When you are in a new study, decide you want to go back to Search and don't want to save the study, it doesn't Abandon. You have to either save the study, or go the Library in order for Abandon to be accepted.

Print Notes from the Note Window
It would be helpful if the notes could be printed from the note window without having to send them to Microsoft Office Quick Notes or One Note.
1 voteNotes can be printed to a PDF by appending them to the 2 page SSG report as a 3rd page.
To print the Notes, select ‘Print’ , then click on ‘Append Notes’ and then ‘Generate PDF’ and the notes will become part of the PDF. We are planning a new ‘Notes’ tab (rather than a popup) and will consider how printing would work from that screen. -
PERT Report PDF
If the report extends to more than one page, the headers should be repeated at the top of each page. Also, occasionally when I print a multi-page PERT Report, the last stock on the first page is split in half -- the top half is on one page, the bottom half of the row is on the top of the second page. The report needs to be generated in a way that will prevent this split.

Add "Prices current as of xx/xx/xx" to top of section 3
At the top of Section 3, there is plenty of room on the top line that displays the stock prices. How about adding "Prices current as of: xx/xx/xx". When working on an older study, the original date is shown in the title bar, so it's not necessarily clear that the prices displayed at the top of section 3 are more current than the Study Name/Date.
1 voteThanks for the suggestion!
The price date is shown next to the current price. -

Quarterly Data
Limit the Quarterly Data X-axis scale to 50% so the plots will not be compressed, making judgements near 10% data difficult.
1 voteHi,
There is an option to restrict the Y axis (height) scale to 50%. It is called ‘Limit 50% Growth’. The X axis can be set to show 5 years or 10 years of data.

Mini Graph - Report company name not just ticker & Company Description
Would like the mini graph to show the company name and allow the company description to open up when you hover over the company name.

Consistency on numbers for R2 on Stock Comparison Guide SCG
The Industry Average for R2 on the Stock Comparison Guide shows as a percentage rather than decimal. I'm assuming that 27.3% for an R2 is equivalent to .273.
1 voteR2 is now shown as a decimal.

Re-think Debt to Capital Ratio
Re-think the use of the Debt to Capital Ratio (D/C). Most members don’t understand what capital is. I have always assumed it is a measure of the financial strength of a company. If that’s the case, the ratio ignores the ability of the company to service its debt and its available cash, equivalents and marketable securities. Either make a strong argument for retaining the ratio, or consider other measures of the financial strength of companies in general. Consider using the Debt to Equity Ratio (D/E) or Interest Coverage (or “Times Interest Earned”) as a means to measure the financial strength…
1 voteInterest coverage has been added to the Ratios tab in SSGPlus

Company search add checkbox
I’m looking at the Company Search section (via Core/Plus SSG), and I wish there was a checkbox or something on each stock when I’m going thru the Data Preview popup, for selecting out items I might be interested in looking further into - narrowing the list, as it were.
Yes, I can write down the ticker of each interesting stock, but if I could checkbox each one, and then only Company Search look at those, and refine the list further (by unchecking some), would sure be helpful.
Not sure how persistent I would want the checkboxes to be, wouldn’t want…1 vote
